Everytime one of the national TV's refers to the Ray's they call them the "tampa" rays, like when they are talking about the games and such on the shows. Not cool, and thats what I was refering too.

& you better believe we are cocky, the rays have sucked the past 10 years of there existence, like not just oh they won some and lost some. They LOST A LOT! Even last year. This season is a miracle, and we are soaking up every minute of it. Especially people like my family who have been Ray's fans since they began as the Devil Rays and there team colors were purple and black. :]

Philly is going to find themselves playing the Rays in the finals and its going to be a blowout. The Rays are from the better division and there starting pitching rotation is right now way superior to the phillies. Cinderella has reared her head in what proves to be a great story. Sorry Phillies fan

But that was one game with the phillies best pitcher Cole Hamels; when they play the rays coming off playing arguably the best and hottest hitting team in the league the redsox. The phillies are going to feel the pains of playing in the NL where competiton isnt great. Not tryin to bring down the phillies but i just cant see it happening but thats what upsets are about.

Why would the MLB want the Rays to make it i mean its a good story but they have a hard time filling seats let alone get a huge tv following. And you can't really "set up" a baseball game. Yeah, I guess that umps can make some bad calls, but you can't fake a home run or a single or anything like that.

Hey i like the pirates so i could care less what happens but sports is fixed in general; and you can definatly throw a baseball game for a team you shrink the strikezone for 1 team you make it huge for the other its the easiest sport to cheat in.
