We are planning our first trip to Disney World in late September, early October. MSP is 3 1/2 hours from home and MKE is 4 1/2 hours from home. Besides being closer, a relative lives near MSP and could drive us to and from the airport so we could avoid parking fees. Southwest has non stop flights out of MKE for $218 round trip and our bags would fly free. On Tuesday morning I checked prices for Sun Country and Delta out of MSP, both non stop flights as well. Sun Country's rate was $258 round trip and Delta's was $186 round trip. I was excited to see Delta's rate and looked at other departure and return times and when I refreshed their rates were the same as Sun Country's. Should I book Southwest out of MKE or wait and see if I can find a lower rate out of MSP?

What about Appleton, Wausau or Madison? Time and gas to/from the airport are factored in when we are comparing flight prices.

Of those 3, Wausau is closest to us. I checked rates with Delta and its over $400 more than Southwest out of MKE. I would really like a non stop flight because we have a very busy 4 year old and the less transitions the better. Appleton is about the same distance as MSP and Madison is about the same distance as MKE. I have looked at Allegiant's website out of Appleton or Duluth but they don't have September/October rates out yet and I am a little hesitant to fly with them based on reviews I have read.
