I am having a hard time making a decision about where to stay.

We took our daughter to MVMCP last year and stayed at the Embassy Suites with a family member's hotel points. We liked the suite but didn't like dealing with the stroller and tram and we wouldn't want to do it multiple times during a trip.

We are considering doing a 3-day park ticket ($381 since we are Fl residents) OR doing 1 park day and 1 party night ($353).

I would like to keep our hotel under $400.

Is there any advantage to staying at a value resort over staying somewhere offsite? We would most likely want to go back to the room for the kids to nap. Will it take way too much time to deal with strollers? Should we stay somewhere cheap and do 1 party night this year and save up/plan early for next year?

Tips? Tricks? Does this even make sense?

Look into Bonnet Creek. Lots more room than a value and its next to CBR, so its close, but not considered on-site because its not owned by Disney.

For the price I would do the 3 day tickets but I never liked to keep the kids our really late. YMMV on that.
