My wife and I are headed to WDW for a weekend trip to go to the Festival of the Arts and the Animal Kingdom. We leave a week from Thursday. We are driving down from just south of Atlanta and will be there around 2-3 pm. She is an Annual Passholder and wants to do some shopping at the Magic Kingdom, while I want to go to Disney Springs for Happy Hour. We are staying off-site for the first time in many trips as out beloved PO resorts are still closed. My plan is to drop her off at the TTC and let her go to the MK while I drive over to Disney Springs.

What would be the best way for her to leave the MK to go to Disney Springs? Are the buses running from the MK to Disney Springs? If not, would it be best to monorail to the Contemporary and then bus/Lyft/Uber to Disney Springs? Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

So far as I know, the buses from parks to DS haven't resumed operations yet. So the easiest would be to walk or monorail to the CR and catch the bus there to DS. FYI walking from MK to the bus stop of CR (which is between CR and BLT) is probably no farther than walking from MK up the monorail ramp and then in CR walking down from the monorail to the ground floor and out to the bus stop. So I'd walk! Of course, rideshare from CR is another option.
