DW and I will be staying off property in January but close to the Disney Springs area. We are going to have a rental car for the first time and thought it may be a good opportunity to dine at some places that are off property but still in the general area. Do you have any places you really like that are in the area? We are more looking for sit down dining options, vs quick service type of locations.

Thanks in advance!

We live close by and we go to 3 places over there. Nothing fancy or extraordinary. And we are beer and wings and sports watching people. But one is a chain called Twin Peaks (with girls like Hooters, lol). Good wings and beer. A little farther down the road, like a minute or 2, is a FL chain called Gators Dockside which is also a good wings, burgers or nachos and beer place and has a ton of tvs that play all the football games if you're into that. And they have a $20 bud lite tower. Similar is Miller's Alehouse (they are all over the place and we go to one closer to home). Then for a local place that many cast members go to is a dive-ish place called Kitty O'Sheas which has the best wings and good beer. And is a good deal.

And for nice places, if you go the other side, Bonnet Creek area, there are many in the fancy hotels. Best steak is Bull and Bear in the Waldorf Astoria and there is Capa in the 4 seasons that is really good with an excellent view.

We like Miller’s Ale House too (don’t have them at home), plus Ford’s Garage. What level of “fancy” are you looking for? Bull & Bear at the Waldorf Astoria is an upscale steakhouse in the Bonnet Creek area.

If you are looking for specific types of places let me know and it's can suggest more.
Will do, thanks! We are trying to keep ourselves open to really anything that is good that people enjoy.

Thanks to both of you for the Bull & bear suggestion, I had heard about it before so I went ahead and snagged a reservation (surprisingly difficult to do even 5 months out so it must be popular). Miller’s Ale House looks great as well.
