The first MNSSHP is Friday, Sept. 29. Would you go to MK during the daytime, even though it closes at 6:00. We will not be attending MNSSHP.

I would go to Epcot and save MK for a day that you can see the fireworks and night parade...I have been there in Sept when they have the school marching bands come in and to leave at 6pm feels like you are missing out on so much.

I was at MK for park opening on Halloween last year. It wasn't a planned trip, we were escaping Wilma's aftermath and we didn't have MNSSHP tickets. Anyway, it was EMPTY. We rode all the rides we wanted, some twice, and left after lunch. It was just starting to pick up by then.

I hope you have the same luck, but it's never a guarantee!

We'll try the daytime at MK on the day of MNSSHP. Then leave if it gets busy. Since MNSSHP is a separately ticketed event, I expect the Halloween crowd will be coming in when that starts at 7:00. We have park hoppers, and plan to do the fireworks and Spectro on another night of our 7 night stay.

The first MNSSHP this year is Sept 15 - I have tickets for it.

Just My .02...

This will be our third MNSSHP and if you hit MK on the 29th...- we'll be coming in. Last year, they started to let ticketholders in at 4:30 PM - before park closing for day guests at 6.

My choice would be to do another park that day- only because I couldn't stand for MK to be closed to me at night! MK at night is one of my favorites in all the World!!!!!
