MK Swan Boat dock gone (photos)

Feel badly for the first timers there for all this construction. My sister in law will be one of them in May. Don't think she will be loving Disney as much as we do after that.

I guess I can't help but think that it is about time. The Swan Boats haven't been in operation for a very long time. We'll have to see just how they use the space before we can pass judgment.

I think that they were giving out wristbands here when I went to the Pirate and Princess Party back in '07.

We are getting ready to leave and I am trying to be as positive as possible but yikes! Hopefully we can somehow turn a blind eye to the construction. On the other hand it might be fun to take a whole bunch of pictures in front of the castle with the crane, the construction at the hub, the scrims, the walls at 7DMT, the construction at the Poly, long lines, grumpy faces on guests and CM's and try to make a whole tongue in cheek photo book of a Disney "experience". I wonder if we could somehow make it into something fun. Lol.

Those photos will be a great talking point some day.

It could be kinda fun. My kid is notorious for getting about two bites in before half the chocolate falls off his Mickey bar and now I'll be ready with the camera for that shot. It will look great in my photo book. Before you think I'm mean I am pretty sure I can get him to see it as funny given how often it has happened. I think I will also try to catch the drowned rat poncho moment after being stuck in a sudden shower. Hmm, I must think of others. I wonder what kind of construction we can find at the other parks. I'll be sure to get some in front of any closed attraction along with a little shrug. I do feel sorry for the first time, once in a lifetime visitor but for us this would be a fun alternative to being upset since I hope it is temporary.
