MK Sunday or Monday?

We are planning a one day trip to the Magic Kingdom August 22nd/23rd, can anyone please tell me which day they think will be less crowded - Sunday or Monday? I can't figure out if Sunday is considered a "crowded" weekend day or possibly a travel day. Thanks for the help!!!

At least the last I knew Sunday is EE, which usually translates into more crowded. I would go on Monday.

I've heard the same thing about EE days, and from personal experience, weekends in general seem to be more crowded in MK. I'd go on Monday.

I always avoid Monday because it is said that most people arrive on Sun. and start their vacation at MK. But, since Sunday is EE, that throws a monkey wrench into figuring it out. I guess of these 2, I would go on Monday.

I'd go Sunday. I've heard Mondays and Saturdays are the busiest at MK.

I do like going to MK on Sunday's EE, and then switching to another park in the afternoon. Since you are only doing one park (I assume), I would suggest Monday. Last month we went to MK on both Sunday and Monday. Sunday was more crowded in the afternoon. I think a lot of people do arrive at WDW on Sunday, and then head to MK first thing.

Could you change your day to Tuesday? I've heard weekends & Monday are the most crowded days at MK.
