We are going to Disney the week of Thanksgiving and are looking for MK restaurant suggestions for lunch. Last trip we ate at the Plaza which was nice but we want to try something different.

1) Diamond Horseshoe - Is there still a show? We saw this many years ago and wondered if it was still running? Can you make PS?

2) LLT - We have been here before but not in a few years. Good choice for lunch?

3) Monorail to GF grill - Since the Christmas decorations will be up we thought about eating at a resort to see the decorations.

4) boat to WL - same as 3

Diamond Horse show still have a show (it did in FEb). It was fun but the lunch menu is VERY limited. I would ear somewhere else go have ice cream during the show.

Yes, there is still a DHJ show, and basically soda, ice cream and limited salads/soup/sandwiches. You go up to the bar and order and take back to your table. No PS is made, you have to go to the DH Saloon and put your name in for a show.

LTT is a great choice for lunch

MK resorts on the monorail are the Poly (kona cafe), GF (GF Cafe) and CR ( Concourse Steakhouse). Keep in mind some resorts restaurants are only open for dinner.

WL is the same (Whispering Canyon Cafe)

If you want to leave the park then I would go w/ the GF cafe.

We had a lovely and relaxing lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe. I thought the food was wonderful and so was the service. When (and/or if) we get to stay at the Grand again, the Grand Floridian Cafe is definitely on my list of places to eat. It was so pretty and tranquil compared to other places and they had linen table clothes, real silverware and a rose in a vase on every table. It was nice but not stuffy. Have a great time whereever you decide to eat!

We'll be there over Thanksgiving week too and plan to eat lunch at Peco Bill's the day we are at MK in the afternoon. They have a wonderful "fixin's" bar for your burgers. I can almost taste it now . . . :D
