Could someone please give me some info on Spectromagic and the fireworks at MK? What is Spectromagic and is it worthwhile to see???? Also, any suggestions on places to watch all these events....(Main street parade, Spectromagic, fireworks). We will be going to Disney from 5/29-6/4, but we will only have two days in MK. I thought if these are worthwhile, we would need to go on Saturday 5/31 because according to the Disney sight that would be the only night while we are there to see it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Thanks!!!!!

SpectroMagic is kind of like the old Main St Electrical parade, only better and much more updated. Synchronized, computerized lights along with excellent music. As far as the fireworks are concerened, I would recommend them highly as well as seeing TinkerBell fly right beforehand. See if you can stand along the Tomorrow Land bridge. That is the best view.

Spectro, Tinkerbell, fireworks over Cinderella's castle... What could be a better way to spend an intimate evening with 15,000 of your closest friends??? ;)

Seriously, try to see them all, you will love it.

That sounds excellent. Thanks so much....I will make the effort to see it all.

Have a great trip!!!! I can not even wait to go!!!!!

Can you see the parade and the fireworks from the same place or do we need to get up from one and race to another location before it fills up???

Thanks

You can see the fireworks from just about anyplace around Main St, or any of the connecting hub walkways. You can also see Tinkerbell from just about anyplace in front of the Castle. Another poster actually had a good point though. They said thier child asked why Tinkerbell loked so big because they were standing on the TL bridge. Maybe a little further away would be better. If you want a really excellent spot for both the fireworks and the parade, try to get someplace around the central hub, preferably looking torward TL or the castle. Be prepared to get there early though, they usually fill up very early...

The last time we did the parade (2000) and fireworks, we were near the Tomorrowland bridge. Be prepared for *big* crowds. Our kids watched the fireworks from our arms - while we were walking down Main St. to try to get out. It took us 1 hour to get out of MK and back to the GF (and the boat was waiting in dock!). People were abandoning rented strollers in the middle of Main St., which was causing traffic jams, esp. for the others who had strollers.

It's worth every minute of your time, but you need a lot of patience :)
