MK Rope Drop Expectations

What are some realistic expectations for us to achieve at fantasyland before utilizing our fastpasses if we arrive at RD? We will be going in Dec.

It depends on when in December you actually go. We go during December almost every year, but not the week before Christmas or the week after Christmas. If you avoid those crazy attendance times, and go say the first 2 weeks of December, you can get a TON don being at the MK at rope drop. The SDMT opening could effect this some, because everyone will be flocking there. However, I think if you are there at rope drop, you can knock out a lot in the new Fantasyland.
