I'd like to get a pS for lunch at MK, where do you recommend that's suitable for a family of 6?

Sam,

you've basically 3 choices - Cindy's, Tony's (Character meal) or Liberty Tree Tavern.

Of those 3, the only one I've ever tried is LTT - I've eaten there for lunch twice and it was very nice both times (nice food, reasonably priced) and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it :)

If you want something a bit different, and aren't doing Cindy's for breakfast or anything, then you might consider lunch here - it's not the cheapest of places, but it is nice to eat in the castle, and if you are lucky, you might bag a window seat which overlooks into Fantasyland.

I have to agree with Disneymad. Of the three LTT is the best. I used to enjoy Tony's but they have changed it too much.

I'm not sure how many kids are in your family, but mine enjoyed Tony's much more than Liberty Tree, whereas my husband and I liked LT (isn't that always the way !!) LT has great stick-to-your-ribs type of fare and it's neat how they announce your table is ready (I won't spoil the surprise).

We ate at Tony's twice this July and will be sure to include it the next time we go. The total for 4 came to under $80, so you can figure accordingly. It has an appetizer menu that you can order from instead of a full meal if you're like us--- usually still a bit full from the last meal we ate at WDW !! It's also right along the MK Parade route and you can bump up your meal time to end so as to walk right over to the curb and get your front row seat.
You can't lose either way.

Another stop to consider is the little cafe right behind the ice cream shoppe on main street (the name just slips my mind). We had wonderful sandwiches and milk shakes the one time we ate there for lunch.:earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy:

We haven't eaten there before, but DH and I have a lunch PS at the Plaza Restaurant for our trip in November. I've heard lots of good comments about it. So, if you're looking for something less expensive, but a step up from counter service, this might be a place to try.

Our favorite is CRT. It is a special place to eat with great attention to detail. We also like the Plaza and it is reasonably priced. We had a nice lunch at LTT in March.

Another vote for CTR. We had lunch here in January and everyone in the family enjoyed it a lot. Food was good and service was great.
