We're spending one night at the WL on NYE. We are a group of 4 adults ... if you consider my dad an adult (sometimes I wonder). I have an ADR for Chef Mickey's for dinner, but I'm second guessing myself.

We'll be moving to the Poly later in the week, so I already have ressies for Ohana and the Kona Cafe for breakfast. I have an ADR for a dinner at the Cali Grill later in the week, and a ressie at WCC for breakfast on New Year's Day. I don't really want to repeat restaurants.

Can anyone make a better suggestion for NYE dinner? Any thoughts on GF Cafe? (The other GF restaurants have very expensive event dinners that would be wasted on us.) Concourse Steakhouse? Am I overlooking an option? Or is Chef Mickey's fine for a holiday dinner for adults?

We're not going into a park that day, and I don't want to venture too far, as I imagine transportation will be crowded. There seems to still be some availability since we don't care about the time.

Any thoughts?

How about taking the boat over to Fort Wilderness and catching Hoop dee Doo. We did that twice on NYE. It is so much fun and a festive way to celebrate without going into a park. Even with the late show you would be back to WL in time to see the MK fireworks.

GF Cafe is another good choice. We love it there although we usually opt for lunch. Kona Cafe is another excellent choice for dinner. But the Hoop would be a fun yet hassle free choice for you.
