How early do you plan on arriving and do you plan on staying in the park until midnight?

I’m concerned about closure due to capacity. A cast member told me that they aren’t gong to let you back in once you leave. I’m not sure about the validity of that info.

There was a phase B closure on Christmas Day.

Stage 4 is pretty much no one gets in. Phase B isn’t, there are a number of types of guests that can still come and go under Phase B (onsite guests, those with ADRs, etc.)

It also depends on if you plan on getting into the hub. Last yr by about 4 pm you couldn’t get into the hub at all. They had CMs blocking all entrances. They were still letting ppl in the park but funneling them into the side entrance by Tony’s & then into Tomorrowland.

I just got that pop up too but they didn’t state what kind of closure it was. I guess we’ll still go and try our luck. We have fast passes booked already

The Magic Kingdom reached Phase B capacity close at 11:30am this New Year's Eve

Another good way to judge is that "Phased Closures" have never started at a "4" in the morning.

They start at a relatively low level, and keep increasing the level of closure when (and if) the guest-levels increase. (In "phases.")

I saw the screenshot of the MDE message on Christmas and it sounded like Phase 4. Since a lot of people aren’t that informed on closure levels they should really have the pop up explain who can still get in. I would find that very annoying if I were there.

Eh, I can understand. Once they hit any phase of close, they are going to want to try and redirect any traffic they can to keep things from getting worse. Keeps things simple.

I imagine they want to discourage as many people as possible to not come at that point, so it doesn't end up becoming a phase 4 closure.

I’m pretty sure it was phase b last yr about this time. We didn’t go in MK til like 1 & it was back down. I remember we barely had any lines to get in at like 1. I was surprised.
