MK RD then ..... Train?

Well will it work? If I want to head to Frontierland or Tomorrowland can I do rd and jump on the train?

Or will there be a 20 min wait 4 the train in which case we would rather walk!

I've one this. It wasn't faster or slower, but why walk if you don't have to? After getting off the train, we rode Splash 4 times before moving on. That part of the peak was empty.

That's what I was thinking! Itd like getting an extra ride and not walking. ..as long as there is no wait 4 the train

Could work for Frontierland but the train would have to circle the whole park before getting to Tomorrowland.

There is no station in Tomorrowland. You would have to get out at Fantasyland/Storybook Circus and walk.

We always start in tomorrowland now that we don't have young kids. We always walk. Love the train for later when it is hot and we are tired.

The only problem I see with taking the train is we wont walk by the castle (kind of a tradition of sorts) and we will pass potc and have to back track. Otherwise it seems as there is no real line and my day starts w less walking an an extra train ride!

Save the train for later... Make a brisk walk to a ride that has long waits early in the day (mountains, Peter Pan, pooh, under the sea, or enchanted tales). I intentionally left off Elsa and Anna because I don't think participating in the running of the bulls is worth ending up in a 1-2 hr wait anyway... This for me is strictly a fast pass or no go.

We usually head for BTMRR first and ride the train. Only once has there been a wait longer than a few minutes. If you're in right at rope drop it does take a minute for it to open. If we head to Tomorrowland it's much quicker to walk.

Good plan, although if you want to do fantasyland come in from the side... Either tomorrow land up by Alice's tea cups and do pooh and under the sea, or by liberty square and do Peter Pan. By the time you are done the first ride the mad house dash for A and E will be over and you should be able to get through ok. If you have older kids after 8 p is a great time to do fantasy land rides as wait times tend to plummet around that time.

We have FP for one day of our trip. Thanks to this forum I learned early that they were available.

Unless the opening has changed since I was there in 2013, the rope drop show has the characters on the train and once it takes off, they let everyone in. You will have a small wait for the train...it is not bad though-maybe 10 minutes? So you can save yourself a little walk...

Im actually planning on being there around 8:45 we have never seen the opening show it would be fun but I would like 2 b towards the back of the A&E crowd

We tried to do this but didn't research well. I guess you need to be at the rope nearest to the tunnel on the east side (right) to get on the train. We were in the left/west queue and were told by a CM that we couldn't go up the ramp on the west side. At that point we just decided to walk, and we had little wait at all for big thunder mtn.

Yea Im also going to have to bring a stroller! That's another line im trying to avoid
