MK question about the train

I noticed that MK has a train that goes around and makes a couple of stops. Can you take that to save a few steps off tired feet and enjoy the scenery? A few vets suggested saving main street for the end of the day, we are doing 2 days at MK (loving, darling, caring husband will have to suck it up) and I want to savor every moment, waited over 30 years for this!  :woohoo:

The train stops on Main Street, at Frontierland, and in Toontown. It's certainly quicker to walk to those places if you are in a hurry, but if you just need a break, it's a peaceful ride.

OH YES, by all means; DW and I ride the train several times around the park , just relaxing and watching everything around us. When the mood strikes us, we just look at each other and say " well you ready to walk it " and then later on, we may just do it again. Its soooooo relaxing,....enjoy it.

The train is great to relax for a few minutes, it is open air so it has a nice breeze blowing through. This is a must for our family, my 3 DS love it. It really doesn't get you to Toontown or Frontierland any faster, so save it for when it starts to get hot and crowded elsewhere!

Our family loves the MK train but there is nothing like starting your day at the MK with a walk "right down the middle of main street usa". No matter where we are heading we have to head toward the castle!!

Later in the day we always take either a loop around or take the train from toontown back to the main entrance, or both.

On our second or third visit to MK on the same trip however, esp if we are entering later in the day we often take the train from the entrance to the Splash Mountain stop. It avoids the crowds that often build and gets us to the back of the park so we can work our way through.

There are also a few scenes set up for the train that can only be seen while riding it. It is also the only place in the MK area where Huricane damage is still visable as you can still see many of the downed trees from our last few seasons.

The train ride is really relaxing. It is faster to walk, but if you need a rest, it's the way to go. Little kids LOVE it!

The train ride is slower than walking, but if you're not in a hurry, take the train, rest your feet, and enjoy the scenery! If you want to save Main Street for the end of the day, hop on board the train at the Main Street station....all aboard!
Have a magical vacation! 30 years is too long to wait, but better waiting 30 years than a lifetime and never!
