MK popcorn bucket

I see there is a Stitch popcorn bucket that has $2 refills. I've looked around online to see if I can figure out how this works but maybe am just not getting it. Are these available now and you can get the refills until February 19th? We aren't going until February 6th, so do they usually have them up until the end of the promo? My daughter gets a popcorn bucket every trip and we buy popcorn daily to dump into it so this will save us money.

Are these refillable deals around a lot or is this out of the ordinary? I've never really paid attention before because it's our first MK experience.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I imagine for this they ordered a bulk order based on how much popcorn they want to 'give away' and when they are out, they will probably not order more.

In the past the bucket had an advertised date when they stopped selling with the refill date going beyond that.

Are these refillable deals around a lot or is this out of the ordinary?

They do it about once a year for MKs.

Availability for offerings like this is always as "while supplies last" and some items definitely do sell out sooner than the listed end date (with some being restocked and others not). However, I haven't seen anyone post about not being able to find a Stitch bucket so far. That's unlike say, the Gingerbread House bucket during the holidays. And can confirm they were available at multiple cart locations this past Thursday and Saturday. That's usually a good sign if they aren't running out after the first few days. Hopefully that bodes well for your upcoming visit!

The buckets do usually sell out at some point. It’s hard to say how long they will last. Note that when you pay the $2 “refill” you get a carton of popcorn, not the whole bucket refilled (which is about a carton and a half worth of popcorn).

They haven’t done as many of these popcorn promotions as they used to do before covid. And sometimes the buckets are “deluxe” type buckets and cost a lot more ($20-$25), which lowers the value if you’re looking to save on popcorn. This current Stitch bucket is only $14.25, which makes it a good value if you plan to refill it three or more times. It’s also very cute. We got one yesterday and there was plenty of availability.

Thanks! Like pretty much all preteens my daughter loves Stitch so my fingers are crossed they still have them on February 6th. I already lowered her expectations so if they have any it will be a bonus.

Most locations last week appeared to be sold out. However, I did see some still available at the cart across from Star Traders in Tomorrowland this past weekend.
