MK Photo Shoots

With the MK photo shoot you get:

• the photo shoot (duh )
• a 4 x 6 copy of each of the pictures
• a proof book of all the pictures
• the choice of 12 pictures in an album.

In our opinion, it was totally worth the money and the inconvenience of getting up so early. Some of our favorite pictures are from the shoot. Plus they're so unique and definitely a little touch of Disney.

If you want to check out my pictures they're here. We added Epcot too for an additional $300

The downside is that you do not get digital copies of the photos. To get them it is an additional $750. Unless you are more patient than I am and can wait 3 years and then it is reduced.

Expensive yes, but for us... we're extremely glad we did it.

Wow...I didn't know that you get to select 12 photos for the album...actually, I didn't even know that you had a choice for an album. Is this a recent add on? I had my MK photoshoot at the end of last year and didn't even know about the album. I'd love to hear from anyone who had this and how they went about to get their album done. Thanks so much in advance!

I believe it's $1100 for the MK shoot and $750 for the disc.

I'm upgrading my photography package from the basic Escape package so the disc is included.

Yes, I believe there is additional 6.5% sales tax on these. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

The disc costs $750 for Escape couples and Wishes couples who use an outside photographer for the wedding; it's $1,000 for Wishes couples who use Disney Photography for their weddings (but there are ways to reduce the cost depending on which wedding photography package you buy).

There is no sales tax charged on photo products unless you live in Florida or receive them while still in Florida.

There is a sale going on now for Escape brides. I think it was $850 for one of the Cinderella packages and it included the DVD and an album upgrade.

There's 18.50 tax on the disc. I didn't pay tax on the photo shoot.

This did not appeal to me at all. I did not want to get up at 4am the day of my wedding. It is super expensive! Just think of everything you could do with 1100.00!!! Since I have gotten my wedding pics back I have looked at them once when I first got them. 1100.00 is a lot of money for something you will look at once every couple of years. It is dangerously easy to get caught up in all the details in planning. You think, oh my god if I dont spend thousands of dollars on pictures/favors/flowers my wedding is going to be ruined and I'm going to die!!!! You just have to stay rational and not get all caught up in all that.
