I'll be heading to Disney next month, and I'm pretty much trying to plan out everything beforehand to make things easier when my mom and I get there. We will only be going to Magic Kingdom, but we will also be heading to the Polynesian Resort at the end of the day to have my birthday dinner at Kona Cafe before heading home.
So the question is, would it be better to park in the Magic Kingdom parking lot, or park at the Polynesian Resort since we will be heading home right after eating? I figured if we parked at the resort, we take the monorail to MK. Then when dinner time rolls around, we take the monorail back to the resort, and from there we head down to parking and go straight home. It beats all the parking traffic at MK. Another thing though, would we even be allowed to park at the resort even though we don't have a room booked? Thank you to whoever read all of this rambling!

! HUGE help. I'm new to planning out stuff like this so I'm trying to learn the ins and outs of everything. Of course though if my mom and I decide to head back to MK after eating at Kona Cafe, we just hop back on the monorail and they'll let us back in? I'm using the free Disney birthday pass and my mom is buying her own separate MK ticket. Sorry for all the questions
