MK Parking Lot Opening

We are staying offsite and driving. We’re doing MK tomorrow. What time does the parking lot open? I was surprised a few days ago on our HS day that the lot wasn’t open until 8 or a bit afterfor a 9 o’clock opening What can I expect at MK for a 9 o’clock opening.

Expect much of the same. This is to prevent large crowds entering the parks at the same time. Expect bus guests and walkers to be at the park well before drivers with their own cars and those using rideshares.

Last week we drove to MK twice from offsite. We lined up I think it was 7:30 one day (we thought it would take us longer to drive in from the house we were renting) and 7:40 the next and were about fifth in line. The tollbooths opened up at 8 a.m. on the button both days. Surprisingly we got in quicker than I thought we would at MK and got quite a bit done. One day we monorailed, the other ferry.

DHS toll booth opened at 8:15 but they let people line up about 7:57 (we were there at 7:50 and had to swing around the loop).
