MK parking for Rope Drop

We are staying at Bonnet Creek and will be driving/parking at Magic Kingdom. I understand you take the monorail or Ferry from TTC. This Friday, Magic Kingdom opens at 9am for off-site guests. What time does the parking lot open at Magic Kingdom? I understand you take a tram from parking lot to the TTC - what time does the monorail and ferry start transporting to the Magic Kingdom. I'm just wanting to plan ahead to ensure we are at the gate with ample time to enjoy the pre-opening show (train station) and take a stroll down main before rope drop. Thank you for any advice.

1. It never really closes.
2. You can, but if you get there early (before 9:00 or so) it's faster and easier to walk.
3. The resort monorail starts at 7:00, the express monorail and the ferry (which I think is much nicer) start at 8:00.
4. I would leave the hotel at 8:00
5. You can not enter the park before rope drop, so you won't be strolling down main street before then unless you book a pre-opening ADR.

FYI, and hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but on mornings with EMH I believe they do the pre-opening show before the EMH opening, so there wouldn't be a show at the 9 AM "regular" rope drop.

Thank you for the replies. The pre-opening show is slated for 7:40am due to EMH so that makes sense. I'm still a bit confused as to what time non-EMH guests are allowed to enter the park. I thought you were allowed to enter the main street area a bit early and the were held back around the hub until 9am. I may be thinking of Disneyland or a non-EMH morning. So if I understand correctly, we will be held outside the tunnels until ~8:45am

It can be more complicated and distant than that.

They often hold the non-WDW resort guests at TTC (at the MK parking lot area) until much closer to 9AM.
