MK park hop EPCOT but back for fireworks?

I’ll be travelling solo in September and staying onsite. I’ve NEVER done park hop at DW, but I happen to have a single park hopper ticket. I’m thinking about doing MK in the morning with EMH then park hopping to EPCOT then back to MK for fireworks.

im wondering how easy it is (I’m pretty sure the monorail will work well for this). My worry is that I’ll be exhausted going back and forth.

I’d love to do Guardians if possible, but unsure how the single LL would work. I’d also do Sorrin and Frozen if I can. If I do this plan I will get the LL Multipass also.

Alternatively, if I just stay in MK, I’ll just chill in the afternoon doing relaxing things, carousel, Tiki, people mover, etc. Or I could go back to the hotel to chill.

What’s been everyone’s experience with doing a plan like this?

I think the best way to stick to your original plan:

Start at MK. Later take a bus to Beach Club. Enter Epcot at Int’l Gateway. Have a Guardians LL purchased for a time slot about 2-3 hours before you want to be back in MK. Start touring World Showcase after arriving in EP. Work your way to the front to do Guardians and anything else you plan in that area. Then take the Monorail to TTC, and then cross 7 Seas Lagoon either on the Express Monorail or Ferry Boat.

Ohhh! I didn’t even consider going to Beach club and heading in that way! Thanx for the tip!

We actually just did this on our last visit a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't have thought of the Beach Club option, so that's a good idea too. We have a 2 year old so the monorail made it simple for keeping him in his stroller without having to take him out and break it down. The two rides were nice breaks from the heat in AC and sitting so they were nice. We rode a bunch of rides in the AM at MK, think we left around 1 for Epcot where we had Guardians lined up and then just did a couple of other rides and ate our way around the food booths, before heading back to MK later for the fireworks. It was a really fun day and I think if you end up getting LL Multipass you will be able to check a lot of rides off your list between the two parks.

If it were me I'd do EPCOT in the morning.
Then go to MK for the remainder of the day so you're not going back and forth.

Each park opens 30 minutes prior for onsite guests and its really not enough time to choose one park over the other to start your day.

How do you handle the FL heat? If you do the EP hop you’ll need to have the energy to power through the afternoon heat. Even after you arrive on the monorail you still need to get into the park and walk around in that afternoon heat. If you might struggle with that staying in MK and hopping from AC break to AC break or doing the hotel break might be the better idea.
