Would you avoid MK the days of MVMCP (the morning and afternoon before the party starts)? The party is 4 nights during our visit with our 4 year old, so I know she'll enjoy MK the most. Trying to decide which days I want to go to MK vs other parks. Do you think MK will be more crowded during the days with the party, or the days without? We're going Dec 10-17.

MK will be less crowded on days when the party takes place, since most people don't want to go on days with shorter hours and no nighttime entertainment.

Yep...what PP said. We usually will go those days, be there a RD, knock out our favorites and then spend the evening at Disney Springs having Earl of Sandwich and looking through the shops. :woohoo:

It's a good time for a half (or 3/4s) day or to hit rope drop and hop to another park with FP+ for the rest of the day.

We make a concerted effort to go to MK on party days. The lower crowds mean we get a LOT done between 9 and 7. This year we'll do this twice, and only do an evening at MK on a non party night, just for the parade and Wishes.

We always plan an early mornign on a Party day. If possible I like a PPO at BOG and we hit the attractions running, get out in the afternoon and then head back to the escort fo a swim and rest , and then back out for dinner someplace else. We also plan a late night on a non party night so we can see the evening entertainment. I am now pepped for how crowded those nights are and plan my FP accordingly and manage expectations. It is really crowded.

Like others have said, it's generally low crowds. Not always, but enough to quasi plan for it. We did go on to MK midweek on a party day and it was absolutely packed and miserable - I don't know why, but that's infrequent.

We went last year on a party day (and yo a party another night) and if was a great choice for us.
