Hello! We are going down in May and it will be my sons first trip. We already have a full day planned at each park but we have an additional half day available (about five hours in the afternoon) and I would like to know which park you would recommend would be best for a ten year old boy to visit again?

If you will have already been to each of the 4 parks, then definitely MK.

One more nod for MK. There just isn't that much to do for a ten year old in Epcot that you couldn't do in one day.

For a first trip, MK twice. To most kids, MK is Disney. My own sons now love Epcot the best, after many trips. Have a wonderful vacation!

Even though Epcot is my favorite park and now my younger son's favorite park, I would still say MK for a first visit!

What does your son think? Maybe he would like to go to DHS for an afternoon of RnRc, ToT, Star Tours and maybe more Star Wars Weekend if that happens to be the half day.

Definitely MK! There are just so many more rides at MK than Epcot. I know my kids would pick MK for an extra day over any other park.

Magic Kingdom for sure. My granddaughter is twelve and she said her favorite park is MK and she doesnt care that much for Epcot.

I'm going say EPCOT because I have two boys, and my 10 year old's favorite park is EPCOT. Between Soarin', TT, and Sum of All Thrills (where you get to design and test your own roller coaster in an automated CG arm), we needed two full days to do everything he wanted to do. It depends on what kind of kid your son is. My son likes MK, but doesn't want to ride Thundermountain and Spacemountain more than once. But EPCOT just thrills him.

My son was 9 our first visit. We were at Disney for 6 days and after his first MK visit he wanted nothing more than to go back. We had planned to do each park at least once. We never made it to AK. It is such a huge magical place, after 3 days in MK I still don't think we saw all there was to see or do.

I would pre-book the 3 FP+s for MK assuming that will be his choice to revisit but you can still play it by ear after he gets to see each park. If he really wants to do Epcot or DHS a 2nd time instead of MK, you can try to swap the FPs the day before.

Two peas in a pod here! My son is 10 now, but his favorite between the two parks has been EPCOT from his first trip as a 5 year old. He loves traveling and is begging to see the world already. He likes MK fine, but he sees it as too tame and his words, "girly and kinda babyish." But his top choice would actually be DHS. He would ride RnR and Star Tours over and over if he could.

Really depends on your boy though. I admit that my child's opinion is probably not the norm.

Just wanted to say this is one of the things that drives me crazy about FP+. Wouldn't it be nice to experience both parks and then decide, but then you might not get the FP you want. Nothing can be done on a whim.

Rant over.
