MK on the day of MNSSHP?

We have rebooked our trip for October, and I'm trying to work out the rough daily plan. Is it better to go to MK on a party day or on an off day? During our time, we have two party days and two off days. We are not doing the party, and and if we get there at rope drop, we don't care about the park closing early- we're beat by then anyway! I just don't have any idea how crowds look - any advice?

Mk park during the day on party nights are the way to go. .nice and uncrowded normally. Avoid days when there isnt a party during party season,it is very crowded.

If you're not concerned with seeing MK's evening entertainment (HEA), then its advisable to go on the day of a party. The thought is that many people not attending the party will opt to go to MK on a day when they can see HEA and have more time with evening hours. Many people that are attending the party will not be there in the morning or will use their party ticket to enter the park at 4pm. In my own experience, crowds are generally good until mid-late afternoon when party goers start to enter. That's when we usually leave.

Completely agree. We did that last October on a Sunday. The park was relatively quiet until 4 pm. FPs were easy to get as well throughout the day, except 7DMT, not surprisingly.

The same works a bit with extra magic. If all the resort guests stayed up till 2 am. They mostly won't roll into same park next day at noon hungover.

Thanks- that's what I was hoping to hear. We plan to go back on our last night just for HEA so it won't be a problem to leave the park early. It's helping my cancellation blues to be planning for October- hopefully it will be a go!

Thats sort of what we did.
Went to MK after early dinner at California Grill. Got there about 30 minutes before HEA and found a spot on MainStreet.
On the way out, stopped to see Mickey M&G on Mainstreet, 1 person in line.
Went back for MK on Sunday and left at 6.
