We have never traveled to WDW during a peak time before, so I am trying to formulate a reasonable plan with realistic expectations:) If we arrive at RD, what time should we start using FP+? This is our plan so far, but I'm considering moving the earliest FP+ til after lunch.

9:00-10:00 BTMR
10:25-11:25 HM
12:00 ADR @ the Plaza
2:15-3:15 SM
(Break and/or "short" wait attractions)
7:20 ADR @ BOG

There are many, many, many "plans" for timings of booking FP+.
You must decide, in advance, which will fit your preferences better.
Then, the reality of being ABLE to get those bookings on your FP+ date might modify those plans.

Just know that MK will be outstandingly busy on the day you are there.

On a day like that, it would be possible that riding prime attractions would not be the priority.

Thanks for the input! I'm not sure I was clear in my question...the plans I listed are set at this time. I am wondering what is the "ideal" timeframe to utilize FPs on a crazy busy day. Is 10 am early enough to still walk on attractions? I am considering moving my 1st FP back until mid-afternoon when the crowds peak.

With the Easter crowds at MK, the lines will build up fast. Especially if they don't add morning hours like they usually do during Easter week to spread the arriving crowd out a bit. So a FP very well may be needed and beneficial for certain rides that early. But we usually schedule ours for mid-afternoon, since hopefully there are some things out there with shorter waits to take advantage of in the morning.

You were clear.
There is no set rule for when to book FP+.
For every positive for timing, there can be one or more negatives.
For instance, the later you wait, the fewer options you'll likely have for making changes or for making
additional FP+.

And, much, much more to consider.
Such as MK will likely open at 7AM for AM EMH that day.
