I've just looked over my new improved Disney plan :Pinkbounc
We are going the 8th-15th Dec and I'm sure like most people I planned to go to MK on our first day. Unfortunately our first day is a Saturday :sad2: And there's no way I'm gonna try and fight the local crowds on my first day!!
So after a switch around we're going to AK on Saturday :Pinkbounc
but the only day I can swap MK to is a Sunday.
I have made ADRs for Tony's at MK on the Sunday. The other bonuses with going this day is that Spectromagic will be on and I haven't seen it yet, and its EMH.

But seriously am I crazy? How busy will Sunday be? :confused3 (it'll be the 10th Dec)

Thanks xxx

We did this last year our first day was the saturday they filmed the parade so we skipped it,we went on the sunday however that was military day or something and it was equally as packed,!

Usually December is very quiet up until about the 22nd so I wouldnt have thought it would be a problem. I have been at the beginning of December when everything was a walk on.

I'd say (unless there is an event on) that it will be one of the quietest days of the year.
All of the people vacationing over thanksgiving will be home and the Christmas vacationers won't be there yet.

You shouldn't have any problems at any parks that early in December :)

Crowds only start to build up around the 22nd/23rd December :)

There is a Pop Warner event scheduled for that weekend but I am not sure what it entails.

A Pop Warner event what's that? :confused3
Thanks for everyone's comments :sunny: They've really eased my mind!

Pop Warner week is a week of junior American football and cheerleading competions held at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex.

You may see groups of cheerleaders in the parks and at some resorts (mainly value). They can be noisly and a tad annoying if they decide to practice their cheers in ride lines etc. LOL

Should make that much difference to crowds levels though.

OK thanks :) I'll stop worrying now! Or at least I'll find something else to worry about! :rotfl:
