MK on a Saturday ??

We (party of 11, 8 adults & 3 kids, ages 4, 5 and 7) will be there 9/1 to 9/5. According to what I've read they are only going to be showing Wishes and Spectro on Saturdays but I KNOW how crowded MK gets. This is the first time at WDW for the group (except for me, been many times) and I really wanted them to see Spectro and Wishes. Any ideas on how to make this as painless as possible? We will have UPH starting 9/2. We are coming from RPR on Wed, 9/1 and were planning on resting that day and going to the WDW parks starting 9/2. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
