MK on a Saturday over spring break - how busy will it be?

This is not Easter week, and we are doing a split stay transferring hotels on Saturday. From a daily touring perspective it makes the most sense for us to do MK on Saturday, although I know it's a busy day and we've always done it on a "recommended" day of the week. Will it be noticeably busier on a Saturday over spring break versus say Sunday or Thursday? We will have an additional half day at MK as well. We will arrive by 8:15 and leave by 5pm or so, so nighttime entertainment is not a factor. I need to know if I am making a huge mistake by scheduling our only full MK day on a Saturday. It just makes sense in our plan with our split stay. Thanks.

Bumping.....

My options are either magic kingdom on Saturday with a pre park opening breakfast, or arrival at animal
Kingdom possibly after emh has started. I've never been to MK on an on-recommended day....will I regret it?

There's no way to know for sure, but yes, Saturday will likely be more crowded than Thursday. If that's the day that works for you, get to the gates early and have a good touring plan. A good touring plan goes a long way

It will be insanely crowded. If you do the pre park opening, you should consider taking an afternoon break then return in evening
