Help! So I have my ADR day coming up in just a couple days so I need to have a plan of what days I’m doing what parks. I’ve basically got everything settled except I can’t decide if we should do MK on a mnsshp day (Friday) or go the next day which would be a Saturday. We are not planning on doing the party. I’m wondering are crowd levels quite a bit lower on a party day to make up for the park closing early? We usually take a midday break back to the hotel after lunch so if we did do MK on a party day we would probably skip our midday break (which isn’t a deal breaker.) This will be our only full MK day so I definitely want to make the most out of our day. Thanks so much!!

Crowd levels are historically a little bit lower on party days, it might be worth it to give the Friday touring plan a shot.

Thanks! I’ll probably plan on doing MK on party day. Sounds like it might be the most effective!

FWIW I usually plan our early CP ADR on a party day. We go in November so it is MVMCP but the effect is the same. Seems to work well for us.

Totally subjective bc we’re night owls and even when we RD, we go all day strong...But, just give it a good/full think of leaving the park so early and missing all the nighttime fun & closing...something “magical” about MK at night; especially the Main Street area...If you have small littles and the nighttime festivities/atmosphere doesn’t appeal to you then I definitely see why you would want to avoid heavier crowds...With a good plan/strategy, any crowd level can be managed. MK is the easiest with the amount of ride options/availability of extra FP’s on your phone...

Just be entirely sure you’ll walk away satisfied with your overall experience (even if less commando rides) without taking part in all the nighttime atmosphere.
