MK on a Monday x MK with PM EMH

Would you rather go to MK on a Monday with no EMH or on a Wednesday with PM EMH?

This will be during December, with MVMCP really making planning to see HEA a pain!

The daytime crowd is going to be pretty much the same, so you might as well take advantage of EMH if you can.

If you're onsite and you know you can hang until close to the end of the PM EMH, I'd choose that one. Just be sure you have a later morning start for the next day.

Id go Monday with no EMH then again on Wednesday (but only during EMH) when everything else is closed. That way, it's truly "extra".

If you're onsite and you know you can hang until close to the end of the PM EMH, I'd choose that one. Just be sure you have a later morning start for the next day.

We're doing the Yuletide Tour the next day, but I'm used to just a few hours of sleep.

I'll have to rearrange a couple of restaurants but I believe Wednesday is our best bet in terms of crowds. The EMH runs till 1am, I hope people start to clear out by midnight.

Evening EMH would be my choice. I wouldn't go the whole day but arrive in the evening and stay until closing. The later the EMH the better.

Will parties be running that week? If so, I would choose the non party, non EMH night. Crowds really stack up on those non party days to begin with.

This^ If it is a week with lots of parties and MK is only open late 2-3 times during the week & this night has night emh... avoid it! It can be a madhouse

I disagree. With EMH lasting until 1:00 am, if they can make it until then, that last hour will be golden, and even 11-12 will be pretty good. And with all the parties going on, that Monday night will be crazy with all the people who are NOT staying onsite wanting to see the evening fireworks.

I was under the impression that they would be there during the day. We were there in December and attended on sunday w/ party night and that wednesday with emh. It was terrible until 10pm. I wouldn't recommend it if its your only MK day.

But ofcourse if your going specifically for the pm emh, then its worth it.

No, first post said they want to see HEA and later in the thread they said they would stay until the 1 am closing.

I'm the OP and we've decided to change our plans from Monday to Wednesday and we'll arrive around 6PM and stay till park close at 1AM. I rather deal with only resort guests which I know from experience start to leave the park after the first hour of EMH.
