MK on a Monday? After Sunday EMH hours?

We arrive to Orlando on a Sunday evening, of course we want to start our vacation at MK. I have often heard avoid MK on a Monday. But I have read some posts recently suggesting attending a park the day after EMH night is offered. The EMH is that Sunday night. What do you think about trying MK on a Monday?

I was at the MK on Monday this week, and right at opening the place was *dead*. However, by about 11:30, there were substantial crowds coming into the park. I still think it's probably best to avoid the park on a Monday. If you can wait until Tuesday I think you'll be better off. Just my 2 cents... ;)

Took a WDW planning class at community college. Wednesday is supposed to be Mk's slowest day. Frankly, except for the decor and achitecture, it was our groups least favorite park. Monday is supposedly MGM's slowest day.

It probably depends on when you go. Last 2 times we went in July. It was clearly much more busy on Sunday and Monday than it was on Tuesday and Wednesday at MK.

Most people probably start their vacation and travel on Saturday or Sunday. Most go to MK first , so that means Sunday or Monday. Not sure of the logic, but that is what we experienced.

Typically, Mondays are the busiest for MK. Since most people arrive to vacation destinations on a Sunday, they tend to go to the most popular attraction on the first full day of their vacation (Monday). Hence, Sunday arrival, Monday at MK.
