MK on a Fri? Will MNSSHP make it crowded all day?

My friend is arriving early Friday AM - bringing her kids for their first visit to WDW. I'm thinking that Friday may not be a bad day for MK from about 11 till 5 - or am I wrong ? Do most people go to MK during the day if they have MNSSHP tickets, or do they only come in for the party? I know Sat will be packed because it is the only day for spectro - and Sun will be EMH, which they don't want to do. So does anyone know if Friday before MNSSHP is a good day to recommend?

We were there last week and a CM at Epcot mentioned to me that Epcot is much busier on the days that MK has MNSSHP. He said people come over to Epcot for the day so they don't have to cut their day short at MK because of the party. Makes sense to me but then they could also go to MK in the morning and Epcot later in the day. Who knows? Good question though.
