Mk & Mgm Christmas Eve & Day?

Would you go to MK Christmas Eve & MGM Christmas Day or do non park things?

OR

Would you go somewhere nearby that wouldn't be as crowded? Where???

Our friends will only be in the area those two full days and aren't the type to just go for the decorations. They'll want to do rides. If it's a for sure 2 hour wait and out of fast passes senerio I thought they may be better to skip it this time altogether???

I would do the parks, but don't do MK on Christmas Day! And get to the parks right at opening, actually before. Use fastpass to the hilt. Get a new fastpass as soon as the time allows. Maybe skip the parades and fireworks and do rides during that time. That works well. Also eat meals at off times to avoid restaurant crowds and hopefully be on the rides when thousands of others are eating.

Thank you Swilphil, we're pondering this real hard right now and that helped. Do you think Christmas Eve - MK and Day MGM?

Anybody been in either park on one of those days in the last couple of years?
