I want to take my items to the post office and I'm a little confused. With shipping going up, I'm not sure how it will work.

Do I send you money or an actual shipping postage label? Can they print a shipping label for the future price? Do I send it in a priority box? I'm only in 3 groups so the flat rate boxes aren't practical. Hmmm.... can an experienced online swapper help?

You can send money, check or stamps. For three groups, a flat rate envelope should be fine.

I just asked the guy at the PO for enough stamps to send a flat rate box. I didn't even pay attention to what it was, but I know it was for the current rate.

You should be fine. As long as I get everything time, I will get it out before the rate increase.

Ok so I have 1 more group to go and I'll be darned if I didn't run into and issue.
So group Z2 my group is Liberty Square, first of all I'm running blind because I never made it to Liberty Sqaure my first and only visit to WDW. but from what I gather and pics I seen.
I'm pretty safe with anything patriotic themed.
Now my snag... I'm trying to do the topper and to fit "Liberty Square" on one topper the letters will have to be super small and honestly it doesn't look good.
Buuuut if I can split Liberty on one and Square on another it looks waaaay better.
So are 2 topper's ok? and a cute tag

Can I get a vote from my other group members and or an ok from our AWESOME,FABULOUS,ALL-KNOWING (is that enought sucking up) Swap Hostess

I had the same issue with Adventureland - I did the letters the smallest (by the rules) and then put them on the background, and I think it came out 1/2" too long. After I did them all, I thought maybe I should have divided it into Adventure and Land. So I applaud you for thinking before doing - since I didn't!

But I agree with everyone else, whatever you think works is fine with me. And Liberty Square is the colonial/patriotic area, so you should be fine.

I am going to check out the wording of my directions because I think it must not be clear. If you do individual matted letters, not attached to anything, then there is a minimum size of 1 1/4 with a shadow. Letters on a topper can be whatever size works for you.

I am glad you said that I was starting to think I had messed up. I made a topper for another of my groups and its the correct size for a topper and really cute but I didn't measure my letters.

Checked it out and I can see that it is not clear that "title" letters is a separate thing. Sorry for the confusion. I'll work on fixing that before the next swap.

Hey, I actually got a group done today! I haven't been able to concentrate on working on them, because I'm still trying to get parts of the apartment organized, boxes taken to recycle, empties I'm keeping in the storage, etc.

You can tell it's been awhile since I've done swap stuff, my element came out bigger than I expected! It will still work though.

Three more to go.

Finished Group O. I would have finished it last night, but my Paint Shop Pro file got corrupted and I had to recreate it .

So 2 groups left and 3 days to do it in. I should be able to get my Frontierland group done today too. But I have to go to Michaels for something .
