MK late arrival/EMH

Our first day at MK, we will relax/swim in am and get to park later that afternoon & stay for EMH (till 1am). I know it's not a recommended day but wanted to make use of EMH, as we have had great luck with them in the pass. How does my plan look? Does this seem doable?

Arrive at MK between 4-5
FP+ 5-6 Space Mtn or Buzz?
Hang out at Incredibles Dance Party
6:30 Dinner at BOG
FP+ 8-9 Splash Mtn
FP+ 9-10 Big Thunder Mtn
Head back to Fantasyland & Tomorrowland for evening EMHs- ride whatever kids choose
Do PP & Rapunzel M&G towards end of EMH when lines are shorter

That's totally doable! We do this all the time. Love evening EMH.

Yes, totally doable and although you may believe it's not recommended to use a park entry in this way, I think with EMH running late that evening, this is an exception. You effectively have 8-9 hours at the park if you arrive when you plan to, so I actually see that as a good use of a day's entry on your tickets. Enjoy your first night. What a great kick off to the vacation!

Thanks for the input! We're going in with the expectations of doing our FP+ rides, BOG dinner & everything else will be a bonus.

You read such mixed reviews about evening EMHs, but we have found such short lines at MK in the past. Hope we're lucky again!

12p-5p Lunch & Explore @ CSR
6p-7p FP - Peter Pan
7p-8p FP - Space Mountain
8:25 ADR - Be our Guest
10p-11p FP - Big Thunder Mountain

We know we will get those 3 - plus a meal - anything else is a bonus & we are just going to play it by ear!

I would see if you could switch the Peter Pan to just before lunch. If you could swap that w/your Space Mountain time, you'll be doing less walking back & fourth b/c BOG is near Peter Pan.

We've found that the later the park closes, the quieter it gets, especially near the end and you can get so much more done. We really felt the difference during the quieter seasons (ironic, I know) and it was a bit of a shock after being Easter / Spring Break visitors and having 3 am closings for EMH to have them run until midnight only and they were SO much busier. Your later closing will go a long way to help you out in that regard.
