DH and I have one day at MK in September. It is not a recommended day on easywdw.com MK has extra hours so opens at 8am. We will be there for rope drop. I made a list of everything we want to do with notations for what we have FP+ for. We would like to take a midday break around 12-1 until evening. We have a reservation at ohana at 5pm and then plan to return to MK after for more attractions and wishes. We don't care to see Electrical parade this time. We would like to start with Space mountain and knock out the attractions on that side of the park then head to Fantasyland and get as far as we can before the midday break. Thanks for your thoughts and strategies!

edited to add: wishes is at 9pm

Walt Disney World Railroad
Jungle Cruise
Country Bear Jamboree
Haunted Mansion
Riverboat

Carousel of Progress
Astro Orbiter

First off September is not as crowded as other times of the year. With that being said it is still crowded. I like to make my FP+ in the morning so I can get more as I use them. However, SDMT is tough to get so if you already have your FP+ then go with your original plans. With your plan you should be able to see all that you want. I don't know where you are staying but for me and DH we don't like to take a mid day break as it wastes to much time so we stay in the parks unless we are absolutely beat.

I would start with Space then Astro, then Buzz. After that see when the next show is for Monsters and make your decision on where to go next based on that. My guesstimate is you will be finished with Tomorrowland between 10:30 and 11:00. The three things you want to do in FL should be doable before your break.

The problem is the evening. It's probably going to be close to 7:00 before you get back into MK. Take the train over to Frontierland and ride Splash. Depending on the timing of the train, your time for Thunder should be open. But when you finish Thunder, the parade will be on. I'm not sure how you're going to navigate to any of the other things you want to do in that area. As it it, you won't have much time to do them before Wishes at 9:00. I assume you're doing 7DMT after Wishes. How late is MK open?

Assuming you want the least amount of lines and are willing to circle around twice in the morning see below. If you don't want to do that you'll have a decent sized line for Haunted Mansion & jungle cruise if you try to go in a counter-clockwise circle only once.

1. Space Mountain
2. Astro Orbiter
3. Buzz
4. Dumbo
5. It's a Small World
6. Haunted Mansion
7. Jungle Cruise
8. Monster's Inc Laugh Floor
9. Carousel of Progress
10. Tomorrowland Transit Authority
11. Philharmagic
12. Riverboat

Evening:
1. O'Hana - 5pm - 6:30ish
2. travel on monorail to MK - 6:30-6:45
3. Splash 6:45-7:45 - FP+
4. Country Bear Jamboree
5. big thunder 7:45-8:45 (closest to 7:45 as possible)
6. Walt Disney World Railroad from Frontierland to Main St., or over to Fantasyland and walk back
7. grab snack/drink
8. Wishes - 8:30 - 9:30
9. dwarfs mine train 8:45-9:45

I don't want to circle around twice but will if it works out better, if that makes sense. Thanks so much~! This looks like it will work and since it's just the two of us we can hoof it around the park. We hate to the heat (what the heck, why are we going in Sept.?? lol) but know we have to deal with it.
