Hello All,

I have seen in the postings people with itineraries and great plans based on previous visits.

Does anyone have a good itinerary that you would like to share for MK, we have a 2 year old son.

So far our plan is MK 1 day and then on another evening going to the Christmas Party and we are not sure if it would be worth taking a 2 year old to another park or if MK and the Christmas party would be enough. We are only in Florida for 1 week Nov.26 - Dec.3rd.

Thanks,

We never had an itinerary when we went with 2 year olds. We pretty much did whateve we thought they could handle at the time. It was almost guaranteed to change each time as well. We just tried to figure out what their mood was at the time and found a ride that would fit.

If you are going to be up late for the Christmas party, you will want to be sure they are able to rest at some point in the afternoon or the evening may not be pleasant.

We didn't have an itinerary either. We played it by ear. We didn't go to any other parks besides MK. Talked about going to MGM but, figured it'd be better to take a day in between trips to MK for swimming, shopping, resting, etc.. Of course, we were there for a very short trip, only 4 nights. She handled much more of MK on the first day than the 2nd trip (our 3rd day of vacation). She tired out much quicker the 2nd day we spent at MK.

Between Splash Mountain and ThunderMountain RR there is a little play area underneath the train tracks. It was a great place to let our DD2 run around a bit out of the stroller and blow off some steam. Have a great trip.

We did not have an itinerary either but our 15 month DD loved all the parks, she just had fun running around and seeing all the different people. At MGM there is Playhouse Disney Live on Stage and the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. Animal Kingdom was great, my DD loves looking at animals. At Epcot she really liked Figment and the play area outside of the ride and Spaceship Earth was a great ride to put her down for her nap, she fell asleep so fast :rotfl2:

I would say try what you want and see how your DC likes it.

Hi!
This is what we did in September with DD2:

-Get to MK in time to watch opening ceremony at 8.50
-Rush down Main St through to Fantasyland. Ride Dumbo first!
- Continue with attractions in Fantasyland until just before 10am. You can get lots done this early.
-Be at the entrance of Toontown ready for when it opens at 10 am. Once they drop the rope rush straight to the Meet Mickey tent
-After meeting Mickey go to the other big tent/ shop area and line up to see other characters, should be only a little line this early
-OK now you can slow down. Let the little one go in the play are, on Donald boat (wet area) get a lemon slush drink and chill out.

After this our ,little one was happy to sit in the stroller and we would go on some other rides before lunch.
After lunch we would often return to our room or if DD was doing well stay for some more rides. We just like to do her stuff first, as it wears her out. Plus the Fantasyland rides get really busy later on.

Have fun
