MK hours in August???

We are planning just one day at MK the end of August. Have been waiting for the hours to be posted. For Tuesday, 31st they have wishes at 9:30. Now, at first I was very happy for the extended hours. Was not expecting that the last week of August. Of course now I'm worried about why?? is there something special going on then that will make MK very crowded?

No, it's very simple really! During this time of year, they only run SpectroMagic and Wishes on the same night just 2 days a week. During the week in question, it will be on Tue. Aug. 31st and also on the Sat. night. In order to show both of them it must be dark, so therefore the park stays open an hour later to accomodate both shows. The park will be busier that night because of SpectroMagic.
