MK Hot Fudge Sundae - Plaza or Mrs. Potts?

Anyone ever had hot fudge sundaes from both the Plaza Restaurant and Mrs. Potts' Cupboard? Which do you prefer?

We can only have 1 on our MK day - so we want to get it right!

We do love the sundaes from Mrs. Potts. Yes, they are soft serve ice cream but soooooooo much hot hot fudge! How does the Plaza compare?

I'm not sure where Mrs. Potts is?? How can I miss that?? But I MUST say we just LOVE the sundaes at the Plaza, I think they're the best in all of WDW (and I'll probably get flamed for saying this)..even better than Beaches n Cream!!

Thanks for the reply. We will be going to the Plaza for the first time in December. I have been hearing good things about it. Can't wait to try it.

Mrs. Potts' cupboard is in Fantasyland near Mad Tea Party. Below is a pic of it. They put a lot of hot, hot, fudge on the sundae and then the soft serve gets all melty and creamy - fantastic! One negative is sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit outside.

I've never eaten at Mrs. Potts but one thing to think about is The Plaza is a table service restaurant so you'll need an ADR or to luck out on getting seated. The Plaza does make a great hot fudge sundae! It's scooped ice cream instead of soft serve.

Another vote for the Plaza sundae because it is not soft serve like Mrs. Potts, but Mrs. Potts is very good, too, if you can't get an ADR at the Plaza.

They also serve an excellent hot fudge sundae with real vanilla ice cream at the MK Ice Cream Parlor that is served in a freshly made waffle bowl having a very strong cinnamon flavor. You can't miss the aroma of baking waffle cones when you walk in.

YUMMY! Yep, we have 4:30 ressies at the Plaza in December. We've never eaten there but I wanted to give it a try. I didn't know if we should have the sundae after our meal or later at Mrs. Potts. But your pic sure looks good!
