Was planning out my MK touring plan for late April (Tues April 20th), and was hoping to get some feedback from those of you who have been to the parks lately. I have a 7:55AM ADR at Grand Floridian Cafe, plan on taking Uber there. In the past, food and service has been pretty quick there, I expect to be done by 8:45, take the monorail over to MK and hopefully be at the gate by 9:15am. As of today, hours for MK are listed as 9a-6p, being a Tuesday on a slower week I don't expect them to be expanded by too much.

Plan on staying at MK from 9:15-ish to about 1pm. We have a select group of attractions that we're looking to do, not very interested in most of the "thrill" rides. Our must ride attractions include the following:

JC
POTC
Riverboat
HM
PP
Small World
Little Mermaid
People Mover (if reopened)

Where would be a good place to start? Start in Adventureland and move clock wise? Head back to Fantasyland first? Is it realistic to think we could get all of these done in about 4hrs?

I wouldn't attempt Peter Pan unless you're at the park well before opening and can go there first.

Has it really been that long lately? I'm looking on the TP app right now and it's showing a 15min wait, and this week should be considerably more busy than the week I'm going in late April. Am I missing something?

Just to give you some perspectve. I was there mid-February with relatively low crowds, but the line for PP went through the Columbia Harbor House restaurant. Granted, people are spaced 6' apart, but the line was LONG nevertheless. Somehow, there was one day when Small World's line also was extraordinary as well. Just want you to know how it 'could be', so that you can plan appropriately. POTC LOOKS long, but it's because of the spacing usually. I'm not the right person to judge the JC line....love the ride, hate the line!

Thanks for the info! How long did you wait in the line for PP?

If you are trying to maximize your time at MK, you will get into the park about 60 minutes earlier if you skip the sit down breakfast. People are reporting an open time of 9 allows for early entry at 8:15-ish.

I agree with Captain America. The wait times now are not yet indicative of spring break crowds and while nobody knows what March/April will look like, it could be heavier than anticipated and it's hard to tell what waits really are just looking at lines. I do use touring plans for better wait time estimates. But either way, if PP is on our ride list we always go to Fantasy Land first. You could do that and reverse order-

PP
IASW
HM
Riverboat
POTC
JC
PM
LM

Also, crowd tracking wise, some other wacky things I just found since I'm also planning a late April/early May trip- here are some events scheduled to take place in April & May. I know these may effect crowds some but I guess that will be a wait and see. Definitely avoiding these resorts though.

POTC and small world. The lines /wait times were over an hour last week. CM are only sit groups in the first and last rows for social distancing. JC very long lines back to Swiss tree house.

March and April weeks should be equally as busy (exception given to Easter week). There are as many northern schools on break the same weeks in April as the southern school districts in March.

That said, watch a live stream. The lines for PP are cray cray.

Thanks for all the advice! A lot do you made MK sound pretty unbearable right now so I think we’re just going to do Epcot instead.

Even at the best of times MK is the hardest park to do in a short time period due to the need to transit from the ticket center to the gate via monorail or boat, which adds to your journey in and out. Having breakfast at GF you can walk to the gate if needed (monorails will be busy at that hour), but your journey out will take more time due to the extra transportation issues. I think that your plan to do Epcot sounds MUCH more comfortable - it tends to be less crowded there, and the larger walkways will make spacing from others easier.
