MK Friday too crowded?

Ok I need some advice. In my book "The Unofficial Guide to DisneyWorld" which is worn thin from use, it lists the busiest days for all the parks, as well as the least crowded. It states that the busiest days for the MK are: Mon, Thurs, and Sat. For least crowded for the MK: Friday and Wednesday.

Would you guys say this is so? I've scheduled our day at MK for Friday 12-12, but I'm reading more and more on this site that Fridays are really crowded. Should I change our MK day?

If you have the most recent edition of the Unofficial Guide, I would say it's accurate. Since Thursday is Early Entry in MK, it would make sense that Friday would be less crowded. Given the time of year you are going, I would say that Friday should be fine. I imagine in the evening, it does get more crowded at MK.

We will be at MK on Friday 12/12 also. MVMCP is that night so I wondered if it would be less crowded because of that. MK is only open 9-6 so I hope it is not too crowded.

I plan on being there that day too: 12/12. (We get there the 11th) I will pop over to MK on Saturday or Monday just to see Spectro & Wishes at night, but for the day, it will be Friday. I think Saturday will be mobbed, because it's Saturday AND because of Spectro & Wishes.

We just went this past Friday (11/21) and the morning (9 AM - 12 PM) didn't seem bad at all.....

However, right around noon, there seemed to be an influx of people and the park got a little more crowded (we ended up having a break and taking the boat ride to WL for lunch; highly recommended!). This could have been due to arrivals of people coming for the Thanksgiving week.

That being said, when the parade started there were still plenty of good viewing areas available on Main Street.
