MK for first timers

Next friday we will be doing MNSSHP with a friend they have never been to wdw or a party! 1 Adult& 1 3 year old what do we make sure they see & do that night?

Definitely the parade and fireworks. Not sure if the young one would enjoy or be scared of the stage show. the character meet and greets are fun of the child isn't scared of characters. Probably would enjoy trick or treating.
