I'll be at WDW the 2nd week of November (9th through 12th). I've never watched the fireworks from the train station. In order to get a good spot, how early should I "position" myself to ensure a great view?
Umm...hate to bust your bubble, but poeple stake out those spots like 2 hours before. In Nov. you might luck out, but there are a limited amount of chairs and people pull those up to the rail and just sit forever. We managed to sit there a couple times for pictures, and will never do it again. It's so boring, sitting, saving seats for some of your group to go get food, etc....then going to get your own....then sitting....then sitting....then sitting.... I would say in Nov. you MIGHT could get away with 1 hr. or 1 and a half. Just keep a watch on it if you want it bad enough and when you see people start sitting, claim your spot FAST!!!
