I thought that I would share this for anyone who is traveling with young children who are afraid of fireworks. My family loves to watch fireworks, but my oldest dd4 is afraid of the sounds (booms) that the fireworks make. (she is afraid of thunder also .... it is a sound thing)
When we were at MK in March, we really wanted to watch the fireworks so we got on the monorail that stops at each of the resorts and rode it around about three times and we were able to watch the fireworks without any problems. We could see the whole show from the monorail (we just couldn't hear the chorographed music - which was fine)
The monorail was not crowded so we did not feel like we were taking up room just watching the fireworks. When it was over we just got off at the TTC when the monorail stopped there. (this helped avoid crowds at the end of the day also) Just a little suggestion for anyone who might have children who are in the same boat that we are in when it comes to fireworks
