Is there a way to calculate when they will open dates? We're looking for an early January reservation... Thanks!

There is no way to tell, I am waiting on October now. You can follow this thread and it will tell you when the reservation window opens. I have been following the thread below for our last three trips and I was able to book the exact days I wanted for the party.

The website shows dates that you can click on through December-not sure how much availability there is though...

The first page just shows when the previous dates were released. If you skip to the last page of the post it is full of people like you and I who are calling Disney Dining every morning and asking if October is open yet. As soon as October opens someone will post and you will know. Then you will have guests calling everyday waiting on November. When that opens they will post and so on and so forth.

It seems like the party is opening about 60 days prior to the month. So October is rumored to open in the beginning of August, November is September, December is October, etc.
