Both my MK park days have no availability for the Dessert/Fireworks party. Is it worth it to keep checking back? Or is it pretty much a lost cause? We've never been, and my family LOVES desserts.

Silly question: are you looking on party days where MK doesn't do regular fireworks?

Are you right at or near 60 days out? These often don't release at 60 days even though they should.

Every time I look there is availability for Garden Viewing Parties. But if you are looking for Seated Viewing Parties - they do go fast.

During party season they go faster because there are less nights. They also have during MNSSHP if you have tickets to that.

I'm not sure about the party days. How would I know?
I'm 41 days out.

I am not sure if you realize this or its been stated but we booked our dessert party at midnight on our 60 days out (which was October 1st) and we had no problem getting it.

I have found out that the dessert parties are not available on party nights.

I would keep checking back. We were able to find availability doing this, but it was back in February when there weren’t parties so there was more parties to pick from. We really enjoyed it and got a great view for the fireworks!

Is this like dining reservations where you can book on the 60 days from your 1st night even if the party is later in the trip or do you have to book 60 days out from the party that you want?

We booked at 60 days from our 1st night, BUT, reservations open at midnight.

I made my dessert party at midnight, then my ADR's at 6 am.

Yea, it is included in the 60+ 10 just like regular ADRs. However, if you book at midnight like the previous poster did, I don’t know if the + 10 will show up then, I’ve never booked anything at midnight but I notice my +10 never shows up until just before or at 6 am EST.

I thought it was meh. If dessert is your goal, you can do a lot better in desserts for the money. Heck spend $35 at F&W. They cut off the alcohol before the show was even over.

But I've seen the show from many angles, so YMMV.

We just do it for the guaranteed spot to watch the fireworks.

Disney Signature restaurants do a stellar job with desserts, their mass produced items, not so much.

I am tired of getting a good spot and then at the last minute a family will push their way in front and through their kids up on dad's shoulders.

Like @Robber Baron mentioned it is about having a spot to watch. To be able to avoid this and actually enjoy the show is my end game here.

I know the seated party does not have as good of a view but we have people in our party that get cranky so that is what I am going for.
