Anyone going to the Dessert Party on Sept. 21st? See you there! All of us Disers need to wear something, so we can all say Hi!

Ideal dates of October 3rd & 4th fully booked sad2, but got in on Monday Oct 5th
Now I need to juggle around Monday 5th's ADRs to accommodate....

We got ours this morning for Sept 8th.
I know as of 9:05am.. they still had the 7th and 8th available.
Also.. Sept 6th.. must be less than 7 seats left.. as we couldnt book that one.

I guess word spreads fast. I got on asap and nothing available! She looked from Oct. 2-10. Guess maybe I'll try later.

I called at 2:30 CST and got bookings for 10-2 and 10-3 was available call again.

Thats why I said to make sure your cm unchecks the dining box. If its checked, it will show no availability.

We just called like a half hour ago and they said they were all booked for the week of the 5th. The only night they had was Friday but we are doing the Halloween party that night so we think it would be too much to do both.
Good for you though! I am glad you're going to be able to go!

Hi KandD:

I think that would be perfect for you. You are already there and I'm assuming you are going to watch the fireworks... then you would already have your place to view them.

We are doing it on 10/6 and that is one of the reasons we picked that night. I'm hoping we will also get to watch the parade from there... now I do need to see if it would be close enough to view the parade easily.

Last year for MVMCP we found a spot an hour before the parade / fireworks and it still became a crowded Zoo. I'm hoping this will allow us to enjoy the party even more. I understand it does add an extra cost to the night.

It seems that the $23.42 per person is a lot if the tip isn't included

I thought that the cost per person was $17.99 + tax?

I just called back today and got 14th October for 2 adults after being told no availability yesterday I did as JLKennedy mentioned (thanks a ton!! ) and asked the CM to check the dining box wasn't ticked and it suddenly became available (was previously told it wasn't) Chocolate covered strawberries here I come

It went up when it was renewed. I was told tip was NOT included. Yet I see some were told it WAS included. But then previous dessert party attenders said there was no waitress that ever came to your table to tip.

I just booked September 16th for the 5 of us it was the only date on our trip that we did not have a sit down dinner booked so I figured we would be able to eat that night . we have a late lunch at LeCellier and now dessert 4 hours later @ MK

You know, something just occurred to me. When previous attendees talked about their ADRs for this event they talked about having a specific time to report to the podium... The CM who booked mine said to arrive an hour before the fireworks. That sounds like pure pandemonium in the making!

You are welcome. I only knew of the "box" because my cm yesterday joked about it.

I can't say it enough, call back and make sure cm unchecks dining box.

I was told 15 mins before the start of the party, which is an hour before wishes. So if wishes is at 9, party starts at 8 and I should be there at 7:45pm. Nobody is allowed in before 8pm anyway.

I was told to arrive 15 mins before my ADR time of 8:30pm to check in at the podium.... Did the CM not give you a set time and ADR confirmation number?

IF not, I'd call back and ask what time your ADR is for
