I don't know... I made my 3rd phonecall, and they didn't ask for $. I asked and reasked, and was told no. Could it be that they have my credit card on file for Hoop De Doo, & Pirate Cruise?

I guess I'll call back in the am and get a different crew!

We made reservations for our first night there, thought it would be great to end our first night like that! Plus my 2 year old is usually in bed by 9:00, so I figured desserts would be a great way to distract her while we wait for them to start.

Ok, please tell me that the fireworks schedule is wrong!! I made Wishes Dessert reservations today for our first night, June 28th. Now I look at the calendar and it says None next to Wishes for that night. Did they seriously book me a Wishes Dessert when there won't be Wishes to see???

Don't worry, I think "None"was for Spectromagic. Wishes is at 9:00, I think. The times are not alligned well with the name of the event on the dis schedule.

That's what I thought too! I just called back , the reservation is for real.. but this CM confirmed it is NOT on the dining plan, but I still didn't have to prepay?

call them back! ASAP! I PAID with credit card but the messed it up.. charge did not get processes and 24 hours later the reservation was automatically DELETED from the system despite the fact that I had a reservation number!

There was NOTHING that could be done with that reservation number. It was a DEAD reservation, all I did was call to adjust the time.. here I thought I had paid and that happened! If they told you that you didn't have to pay, they were either dead wrong OR they booked you for a buffet at the noodle station.

I would be leerie of any times that are 8:45pm or earlier unless wishes directly corelates to those times. Party starts 1 HOUR before Wishes. Period.
You should arrive 25 minutes earlier but your reservation time should be 9pm. I don't think they run wishes earlier than 9pm in the summer, do they?

When I made the ressie they took my credit card and charged it. She even told me the amount that would be charged and gave me a # for my ressie.
I had to call more than once and the lady had to get her supervisor as it was not on their screen. The first lady told me they were all gone for the night and it was only giving her Epcot dining when she put it in the computer. I tried to explain it was dessert only. I called back 10 min. later, got a different lady, she got her supervisor and after 20 min., I had a ressie for the night the other lady told me was gone.....

Please note that Tomorrowland Terrace Cafe is only open on these select nights:

August 16, 23 and 30

I think this is part of the problem, this restaurant is open on these days and is on the DDP. It is a buffet and is NOT the dessert party. Restaurant name is the same.... So if you are going on one of these dates you need to make sure that you book the dessert party (if they are still having on those days) and not the restaurant. Good Luck!

If you weren't charged $19.16 per adult ($17.99+6.5% tax) plus $10.64 per child ($9.99+6.5% tax) when you made the reservation and advised that you have until 24-hour prior to the reservation to cancel it (for a refund), you *don't* have a reservation for the dessert buffet.

Good luck when you call back!

agreed! and anyone who has a reservation for 8/23 on here... most likely you don't have it for the dessert party, they have you booked into the special dinner buffet at the same location. good luck everyone.. I still can't believe how lucky I was to have called back and found out the easy way my reservation was never saved in the system despite having all the information and a reservation number.

I agree! But not so sure they will do it in the fall between the MNSSHP happening certain nights and earlier close times it may conflict with regular dining too much. I'm going back in September and wouldn't mind doing it again with just my "mom" friends. I'll be keeping my eyes open for it.

Ok, Just got off the phone, confirmed the reservation and questioned the non payment. SHe said it is NOT a pre pay, and that the DIsboards are not official! LOL... everyone knows the disboards know more than most disney CMs Told me not to worry, and that it definitely is for dessert... So being the type of OCD I am, I will be calling again later today,

Roe, I loved POFQ last year, so relaxing... and the boat to DTD is great! Enjoy!
