MK evening EMH

We're going in Feb 2020 for an adults only trip and I want to spend lots of time in the parks after dark which we can't really do when we have our son. I noticed that historically, MK has evening EMH on Wednesdays and I'm looking for your experience with it.

The first week of Feb is generally a quiet time so I'm wondering just how busy the EMH is that time of year (historically, not looking for a crystal ball prediction) or other quiet times? Will it be packed since they only do them once a week or will it be a good time to explore the park after dark? Will we have any luck at all with the more popular attractions?

To be clear, I'm not asking about the DAH event - we don't want to spend the extra on that this trip

IMO, the later the MK PM EMH, the better the MK PM EMH.

That week last year had a 8pm-10pm EMH, which is on the early side of things. Still LOTS of people (and families) that can hang for those hours. (Granted, things could be different next year)

But early Feb has precious little later park time to begin with, so you have to take what you can get. I’d personally plan on it if your goal is some late night MK time.

Since it is February and the park closes at 8 pm, you'll probably have EMH from 8-10 pm. Headliner attractions (SDMT, Space, BTMRR, Peter Pan's Flight) have moderate wait times anywhere from 30-45 minute wait times for most of the time during EMH. However, all other rides like Pirates, Haunted Mansion, IASW had little to no waits. I would say EMH is good for hitting the mid tier rides and choosing one or two headliners at the end of EMH. BTMRR was a walk-on right at the end of EMH. However, don't expect you'll hit headliner rides throughout the entire EMH with no waits though.
